Dr. Nicol brings unique skills to his practice by combining chiropractic, natural medicine and massage therapy. He provides individualized health care programs through an integration of nutritional, herbal and homeopathic therapies.

Dr. Nicol is licensed by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners, has the Certificate of Attainment by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner(CCEP) by the board of Examiners Council of Extremity Adjusting. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Nicol obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1997 from the Texas Chiropractic College graduating with honors. In December 1998, he completed a postgraduate certification and became a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner. He has completed over 300 hours of postgraduate courses in natural medicine, and in December 2007 received his certification in Applied Clinical Nutrition.

Dr. Nicol brings an impressive 23+ year history in the healing arts. He has specialized in sports massage therapy and injury rehabilitation since 1985. He was an invited guest sports massage therapist at the 1988 winter Olympics and coordinated the sports massage team for the Houston Tenneco Marathon from 1987 to 1992. He also appeared on Channel 13 – Good Morning Houston and on Channel 2 Sports demonstrating sport massage techniques.

Dr. Nicol has been acknowledged in Houston’s H Magazine for the last two consecutive years as one of Houston’s Top Chiropractors.

Director of Massage Therapies

Mary Nicol graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1977 with a Master of Education degree. She received her basic massage and advanced structural bodywork training at the Houston Massage Center 1983. She is internationally certified with the International Institute of Reflexology, and is Texas state registered as a massage therapist.

Mary was an invited guest sports massage therapist at the 1988 Winter Olympics and has appeared on Channel 13 – Good Morning Houston and on Channel 2 Sports demonstrating massage techniques.

She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association National Sports Massage Team and is nationally certified for therapeutic massage and bodywork. Her professional skills in bodywork include Swedish and sports massage, myofascial release, reflexology, and basic manual lymph drainage.
